How to align adjust laser cutting machine beam optical path alignment

1. preparation work for adjusting the light path. 

Adjust laser tube power to 30% and adjust the current to less than 50%.

Prepare paper tape, a small piece of acrylic sheet.

It is more convenient for two people cooperate to do this work.

Before testing the next mirror, press the pulse and test the approximate position of the laser spot with an acrylic plate.

2. adjust the mirrors 1,2,3 in the above figure.

mirror 1 adjustment: adjust the position of the laser tube, keep the laser tube parallel to the X-axis beam; attach the paper tape in front of the mirror 1, press the pulse button, laser mark on the paper tape; adjust the position of the laser tube, Ensure that the beam from the laser tube is shot at the center of the mirror 1.

mirror 2 adjustment: attach paper tape to the front of the mirror 2, move the beam to the position closest to the mirror 1, press the pulse and mark it; gradually move the beam to the farthest position from the mirror 1, press the pulse to mark; adjust the relevant adjustment screw on the mirror 1 to make the two mark centers coincide; repeat the second to fourth steps until the nearest and the farthest two mark centers completely coincide.

mirror 3 adjustment: attach paper tape to the front of the mirror 3, move the laser head to the position closest to the mirror 2, press the pulse to mark it. Adjust the relevant adjustment screw on the mirror 2 or Install the screw on the mirror so that the mark falls in the center of the light entrance hole in front of the mirror 3. If necessary, adjust the position of the laser tube; gradually move the laser head to the farthest position from the mirror 2, press the pulse to mark; adjust the relevant adjustment screws on the mirror 2 ,so that the center of the two marks coincide; repeat steps 6 through 8 until the nearest and the farthest two mark centers completely coincide.

3. adjust the verticality of the mirror

Put a paper tape on the lower end of the laser head nozzle, press the pulse button to mark, and remove the paper tape to see if the laser mark and the laser head nozzle are concentric. Adjust the adjustment screw of the mirror 3 on the laser head and repeat the action to make the laser mark and the laser head nozzle concentric.

Move the laser head to the four corners of the table and adjust the four points are coincide.
